Well, the year 2011 is almost at it’s end. For bloggers and websites, that means figuring out what will be of most importance in 2012 with regard to links, rankings and content. This short post includes a video I want you guys to review and give your opinions on. Linkbuilding in 2012; the precepts.
Changes In Linkbuilding 2012
My main question is this, has linkbuilding changed all that much in the last 12 months? I know Google has changed it’s algorithms and ranking standards quite a bit; but the general premise of linkbuilding; has it really changed? The maker of the video in the post seems to think there are major linkbuilding precepts geared towards 2012 that will cause success or failure.
In my opinion, when you build links organically, you write top notch content. You saty away from link farms. You steer clear of spammy links. You create partnerships with other bloggers, social media users, websites. Reputable people.
So what could be so drastically different in 2012, besides maybe a Google update? Social media will continue to play a factor in your rankings, user engagement as well. I could be way off base here, but this is where you come into play. Please take a listen to this video and let me know what you think. Let me know if your strategies will change in linkbuilding for 2012.
I am interested to know if there is any way of using a number of of the major search engines like google and yahoo to seek for html code snippets as an alternative of the usual keywords.
