Well, not THE Zuckerberg, but his sister; Randi Zuckerberg. Randi is leaving Facebook as director of marketing to start her own social media firm.
Hmmm, what do you think this means? Maybe she knows that it’s only a matter of time before Facebook becomes MySpace. History that is. With the immense popularity of Google+, one can only wonder how long Facebook has.
The female Zuckerberg will be starting her own social media firm called, RtoZ Media. So, will she get a big boost from her brother; or will she do it all on her own?
I don’t know about the answer to that, however, Randi was quoted as saying;
““It is with mixed emotions that I announced my departure from Facebook today to launch my own initiative.”
So why leave? Creative differences maybe? Why are there mixed emotions? It would seem to me that Randi and her brother were going in two different directions. I am just speculating however.
It will be interesting to see how RtoZ media will compare to Facebook and Google+. I think she may take things that didn’t work for Facebook, improve them and have a pretty viable little company on her hands.
